I’m Kevin, the owner of Caribbean Pie Shop, and my journey here has been anything

but ordinary.

For most of my career, I built my life around sales, entrepreneurship, and growing

businesses. I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people, finding opportunities, and

creating something meaningful. Over the years, I owned and operated several

successful businesses, learning valuable lessons about hard work, customer service,

and the importance of building strong relationships.

Eventually, my family and I decided it was time for a new chapter. We moved to

Sarasota, drawn by the sunshine, the coastal lifestyle, and the welcoming community that makes Florida such a special place to call home. Like so many others, we fell in love with the relaxed pace, friendly faces, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Gulf Coast. As I settled into the Florida lifestyle, I realized I wanted a business that reflected both my passion for people and my appreciation for great food. That's when the opportunity to purchase Caribbean Pie Shop came along. It felt like the perfect fit—a chance to bring delicious, handcrafted pies to our community while building something the whole family could be proud of.

From the beginning, this has been a family business. My two grown sons joined me in

the adventure, helping manage daily operations and bringing their own energy and ideas to the shop. Together, we've worked to preserve the quality, authenticity, and flavors that our customers have come to love.

While my sons have moved on in their own career paths, you will still find me out in the

community at local farmers markets, festivals, and events. Old habits die hard—I still love meeting people face-to-face and sharing our pies with first-time customers. I also continue to use the sales skills I've developed throughout my career to introduce Caribbean Pie Company to local restaurants and businesses, helping more people discover the unique flavors that make our pies special.

Today, Caribbean Pie Shop is more than a business—it's a family endeavor, a community connection, and a reflection of the journey that brought me to Sarasota. I’m grateful for every customer who stops by, visits us at a market, or serves our pies in their restaurant.
